Showtime!

April was a busy month for me with two exhibitions to prepare for. It was also country show time here in the South Burnett. This year I entered watercolours in two shows - in Dalby and Kingaroy - and was delighted to win three prizes. I'm afraid fine art is the only category I entered......the tiny custard apples we grow in our garden could not compete with the amazing examples on display and I'm sure my fruit cake could not compare with the prize winning examples I saw! A huge thank you to all the volunteers, exhibitors and attendees who make our country shows a continuing success each year.
