We are lucky to live surrounded by bushland which contains an assortment of native animals. A mob of wallabies visits almost daily and their antics never fail to delight and entertain. No matter how many times I see them, they stir my heart and I am amazed at the privilege of being able to observe wild animals from close quarters. All kinds of dramas unfold - fights for pecking order, romantic trysts, touching nurturing of mothers and joeys. The most fun is when a young joey leaves the pouch for the first time and discovers his bouncy legs. I've tried many times to capture the essence of their delicate features in watercolour. Regular visitors are given names. Here's Walter...
